* The Bone Zone, A Carnival of Healthy Choices

The Explorium of Lexington is bringing The Bone Zone, a traveling exhibit, to Lexington June -September 2010. 

      * Museum Go Round 2010

Explorium of Lexington's premier art event, Museum Go Round, is set for October 16, 2010.  The event, which has become a community favorite, showcases the paintings, photographs, sculptures, jewelry and various art forms created by children in the Bluegrass region.  The art work is available for purchase, giving the aspiring artists an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship.  The event also includes family activities, such as local children's dance performances, musical performances and instructional art demonstrations.

Registration forms are available for all artists 18 years of age or under.  The registration fee (includes booth space) is $15 and all proceeds from the registrations help to fund the event.

The Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet, provides operational support funding for Explorium of Lexington with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
