2010 Museum Go Round

Explorium of Lexington’s premier art event, Museum Go Round, is set for October 16, 2010.

This year, the planning committee is pleased to announce the location of the event will be Triangle Park. "Triangle Park is a beautiful setting for the art fair," says Mike Gilmore, Explorium executive director. "The artists and patrons will have plenty of room for displaying art and shopping at the new venue."

The event, which has become a community favorite, showcases the paintings, photographs, sculptures, jewelry and various art forms created by children in the Bluegrass region. The art work is available for purchase, giving the aspiring artists an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship. The event also includes family activities, such as local children’s dance performances, musical performances and instructional art demonstrations.

Registration forms are available for all artists 18 years of age or under.  The registration fee (includes booth space) is $15 and all proceeds from the registrations help to fund the event.  Sign up today!

For more information, contact the Explorium at 859-258-3253.
